This teaching is a foundational truth that is essential for understanding how much God loves you and believing what He says about you in His Word. Each person is made up of three different parts: spirit, soul, and body. Learn how these three parts relate to God and to each other. At salvation your spirit is totally changed, but your soul and body is not yet redeemed. This series will teach you how to release the life that is already in your spirit, into your physical body and emotions.

This teaching onSpirit, Soul, & Body is the foundational truth that started my growth in the Lord. It unlocked the door to understanding how God could love me, how I could believe what the Word of God said I had, and who I was. I still draw on these truths every day of my life. I believe these revelations will change your life as they have mine.

The Basics Of Spirit, Soul, And Body
This teaching identifies the three major parts of our being: spirit, soul, and body, and gives the relationship between each. At salvation, our bodies and souls are not saved. Their salvation has been purchased but they aren't redeemed yet. Our spirits are t he only parts of us that were completely changed at salvation. The rest of the Christian life is a process of renewing our minds and then manifesting in our bodies the change that is already complete in our spirits.

Eternal Redemption
Many Christians are striving to become righteous when the truth is that they are already as righteous as they will ever be in their spirits. Righteousness is not a virtue to be earned, but a gift to be received. We are as righteous and holy as Jesus is, in our new, born-again spirits. The rest of the Christian life is an appropriation of what we already have in our spirits.

The Faith Of God/Mind Of Christ
The whole idea of trying to get more faith is wrong. We already have the same measure of faith that Jesus has. It's the same thing with wisdom. Our spirits have the mind of Christ in them. We know all things (1 Jn. 2:20). It is simply a matter of drawing out that wisdom and knowledge that is already within us.

The Spirit Vs. The Flesh
Our spirits are as perfect and complete now as they will ever be. In our spirits we are as Jesus is (1 Jn. 4:17) in every respect. But we have this treasure in an earthen vessel (2 Cor. 4:7). The effort in the Christian life is not to obtain more from God we already have it all in Christ. The effort is to renew our minds and resist the flesh. As the flesh is subdued, the spirit releases its life in our physical bodies and emotions.
