The Bible says, "Where there is no vision, the people perish…" (Prov. 29:18). Vision, which is closely aligned with hope, is the spice of life. The Lord has a vision for each of our lives before we are even born, and it is greater than we could come up with on our own. But unless we pursue God's plan for our life, we won't experience it. It doesn't happen automatically.
